Weddings

Marriage is a Sacrament, an expression of people's connection to God. Like other Sacraments, the most appropriate place for this is in a person's own parish church where they worship and celebrate other sacraments. Many people have ties with our historic Holy Cross Church or would like to be married in such a beautiful church with so much local history. You are most welcome to celebrate your wedding there or at our more modern Holy Spirit Church.

Our Parish Priest is available to celebrate weddings. At least six months preparation is required prior to the wedding. For a Catholic marriage, at least one person must be Catholic, and neither party be married previously. Fr Bogdan can advise if this causes difficulty.
