June Beanie Challenge

Our volunteer Marjorie has kindly counted all of the items that were knitted or donated in June as part of our challenge to support Vinnies.

Our parish, with a challenge to make 60 beanies, ended up making 91! The challenge must be 100 next year.

There were also 24 scarves, children’s jumpers, baby booties, rugs and much more.

These items, thanks to Marjorie & Chrys are all safely at Vinnies in Kincumber.

We would also like to thank Tony Smith for his wonderful contribution to the organisation of this event.

All of our community should be very proud! We have helped so many in need this winter.
