June Beanie Challenge
Our volunteer Marjorie has kindly counted all of the items that were knitted or donated in June as part of our challenge to support Vinnies. Our parish, with a challenge to make 60 beanies, ended up making 91! The challenge must be 100 next year. There were also 24 scarves, children’s jumpers, baby booties, rugs and much more. The Feast of Corpus Christi
On Sunday, the Church celebrated the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, known more commonly as Corpus Christi (Latin for Body of Christ). On Sunday, 35 children of the parish received their First Holy Communion. Congratulations to the children and their families, and thanks

The Apostles began their public ministry following this event, with 3,000 people baptised that very day. It is on

In the Narthex this weekend there will be prayer candles available for new mothers, for new children, and for those who have recently lost their mothers. We would like these parishioners to take a candle in remembering that God is with us, and to offer thanksgiving for mothers and motherhood. A special thank you to all our volunteer ladies for organising this. Mother's Day Poem There is a love which stands the test of time A bond which age & distance cannot destroy It is no
