Kincumber Vinnies News

After more than 10 years as President of the Kincumber Conference, I am retiring and not only looking for someone to fill this important position, but seeking wider for new members to join our Kincumber Vinnies team.

For a variety of reasons, we have lost a number of our members and are in desperate need for new helpers. As a result, the Kincumber Conference is currently inactive.

At present, all requests for help from those in need go directly to the Gosford Office and are dealt with there. If you are considering joining our Conference, this would involve a monthly meeting as well as possible client visits on one day per week. Those who only have a little time to help in this worthy cause would be most welcome. 

Application forms for prospective new members are available through the Parish Office or the Gosford Vinnies Office and can be accessed from Lisa Dalton on 0490 287 734. The application process involves a Police Check, a Working With Children Check and some short online courses.

The Vinnies Winter Appeal is on now, and donations can be made via the Poor Box in the Narthex. It will be available for donations for the whole year. All of these donations are for the use of the Kincumber Conference only.
